“I-google mo!”

Have you ever asked someone a question and gave you one of the lamest answers?  Well, I did.  A lot of times.

But there was a time I asked my co-worker/friend, Tan-tan, something related to programming and he simply just answered “i-google mo!” Thinking that he was just being cranky and all that, I stared at him, raised an eyebrow and like said at the back of my head, “Uh.. What kind of answer was that?!”  Wanting to get a meaningful answer from him, I kept on asking him and he kept on replying “i-google mo!” and would  just smile.

Then…

I gave up.
Went back to my workplace.
Opened my browser.
And googled.

Lesson Learned:  Sometimes the simplest (or probably the lamest) answer can be the best solution.

Of course don’t expect google or other search engines to always give you accurate information coz they don’t ;-)

UPDATE NO. 1

Here are some good tips from Kuya Cyber:

Here’s a few of my fave google shortcuts!
Looking for a filetype? use -filetype:pdf to filter your results to PDF files!
Need a word’s definition? Easy! Just type: define “your-word-here”
Need to convert a currency? No Problemo! Just type: 100 usd to php (”replace usd and php to the currencies of your choice!”)
